SHIKALLC responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe material on shikallc.com infringes your copyright, send us a written notice that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or other specific location of the material on our site.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Send your notice through our Contact page or at support@shikallc.com with the subject “DMCA Notice”.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake, your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly making a false claim in a notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages.
